Beautiful Light, Beautiful Love

While still in her first trimester, this expecting mother reached out and said, “I love your pictures. The soft colors, the scenery and the light. It’s exactly how I imagined our maternity pictures.” I love when people are able to connect to my work in this way and know they want me to be the one to photograph such a special time for them. There are so many maternity photographers in the Bay Area to choose from, so I am always honored when someone chooses me.

When it finally came time for their maternity session months later, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening with the prettiest soft golden light. She selected two different dresses from my extensive studio collection and looked amazing in both options. Even though breathtaking scenery, gorgeous light and pretty dresses all make for beautiful photos, it’s the visible love and joy of new parents that truly makes all the difference and gives that beauty real meaning.
