Our youngest turned two! I guess we need to officially stop referring to him as “the baby” now. I’m feeling a little emotional about it as it seems like the end of an era for us. It’s true what they say…babies don’t keep and it really does go by so fast.
He has always been my most challenging photography subject ever (starting at birth) and getting him to cooperate for birthday photos was no easy task. Thankfully, he was interested in his cake this year and even jumped for joy…I mean, who doesn’t get excited about cake, amirite? I wanted to keep it timeless with a simple vanilla naked cake garnished with fresh olive leaves (one of my favorite greenery options).
We’ve managed to recreate the photo of me holding him in the chair in our living room every single year and I hope to continue the tradition as long as he’ll let me.
Clothing is from Jamie Kay and Zara and available as part of the studio wardrobe.
