There aren’t many images more tender and moving than a newborn sleeping peacefully in their parent’s loving arms. As much as I also love photographing babies by themselves (see the rest of this sweet newborn session here), I believe that pictures documenting the family bond will be the most treasured heirlooms many years from now. These images have the power to take you back to that fleeting time and remember how it felt to hold your brand new baby in your arms, completely overwhelmed with love.

I have been friends with this sweet mama since we were only babies and she has been such a blessing to me for as long as I can remember. It was an honor to be able to document her beautiful growing family as they welcomed their second baby boy earlier this year.
