Motherhood is wonderful, inspiring and beautiful…but if I am completely honest, it is also so incredibly hard! It is all-consuming and most days I am completely exhausted by the time I tuck my children into bed. Yet these two little souls bursting with endless energy also fill my life with unspeakable joy and I wouldn’t trade it for the world! Even though I often feel like I fall short of the mother I want to be, I am learning and growing everyday. My children continue to challenge me and I know God is using them to shape me into the woman He wants me to be.
This post is part of a year long collaborative personal project where an amazing group of photographers and I have committed to get in front of the camera once a month to document our love for our children. Please continue the blog circle to see what everyone has to share, starting with my talented friend Megan Marlene.

Wonderful Bethany! I love your honesty and your beautiful family.
So many beautiful memories. It’s amazing how we are blessed with the very ones that try our patience, lead us to exhaustion, and even bring us to tears- but they are the biggest joy and gift in our lives.
