My sweet baby girl is becoming more and more independent every day. She is running around everywhere and rarely wants to be held anymore. Now that she is no longer nursing either, the snuggles are even fewer and further between. When we were taking these pictures and she spontaneously nuzzled into my neck and wrapped her chubby little arms around me, I just completely melted. I am so glad that I have this now rare moment captured forever. Getting in the frame with my children isn’t always easy, but it is always worth it.
This is the fifth installment of a year long collaborative personal project where an amazing group of photographers and I have committed to get in front of the camera once a month to document our love for our children. That first image is perfection. It makes me wish for little arms around my neck again…
awww!!!! you just can’t force or fake that kind of bond and connection. Love!!!
These are the sweetest moments so beautifully captured. The arms around your neck make me completely melt, because every mommy knows the contentment in that moment! So happy you captured it for your family!
Oh that cuddle into your neck is soooo sweet! Xo
I absolutely love the hugging one. Such a sweet photo. What a great reminder that as she grows, she will always need you!
breathtakingly beautiful!
