This family session from last fall had everything that makes my heart happy as a photographer…gorgeous warm sunlight, beautiful golden fields, a sweet little family and a whole latta love. It was such a joy to watch these parents love on, play with and snuggle their almost one year old baby girl. Mama got her to laugh by tickling her with a piece of grass and baby thought it was even more hilarious to tickle her mama back. I love little spontaneous moments like this as they always make for the best images. They tell more of a story and capture a family’s love and interaction more than a perfectly posed portrait ever could. This is one of my favorite ages to photograph as it is such a fun age to document and also because it is an important milestone not only for babies but for the parents as well as they celebrate their first year together as a family.
