The warm glow of the setting sun and the vibrant spring wildflowers created the perfect setting for this beautiful sunset maternity session. These images are even more meaningful to me because of how much I love these two soon-to-be parents. My brother married his high school sweetheart and not only is she absolutely gorgeous (total Eva Mendes look a like, right?), she is sweet, smart and has such a giving heart. She is also an amazing wife and has chosen to selflessly support my brother in his pursuit of his life long dream even though it comes with great sacrifice. They are both constantly in my thoughts and prayers as they await the arrival of their precious daughter while my brother is serving his country oversees. I am so honored I was able to document this special time in their lives. Even though maternity sessions are typically all about the belly, I personally love also focusing on the relationship between the new parents as it is such a magical time of love, excitement and anticipation in a couple’s journey together…especially when those two people mean so much to me.

What love in these images! I love how beautifully you captured the connection between the two of them! I think you summed it up beautifully, maternity sessions are not just about the belly, but the connection between the couple! And what a gorgeous couple!
